“Little Perrette breaks maiden status for Christine Bennett”

Daughter of Houdini Boy Little Perrette made full use of box one tonight when she led throughout in tonight’s opening event, the Free Entry TABtouch Park Maiden over 300m. Little Perrette had been placed in 5 of her first 12 starts and was well supported into a $1.70 fixed odds favourite from box one. She sprung out of the boxes and quickly assumed control before scoring by three lengths in 17.71. First starter Road Rage Gundi stuck on well for second for Geoff Reid and two lengths away third was Ten High. Little Perrette’s mother West On Nessy was a handy type in her own right and was also a full sister to West On Lily, West On Holly and West On Violet.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 2 Number 2 SO WHAT : Showed terrific early speed to lead throughout by four lengths.

Race 5 Number 4 BREAKOUT BOY : Finished strongly to win second up in WA over Sassy Lad.
