“Cindy’s Pride leads all the way for Glen Price at 33/1”

Veteran chaser Cindy’s Pride caused an upset result in tonight’s first leg of the Quaddie, the Get Your Quaddie On Grade 6 over 400m. The daughter of Barcia Bale had been unplaced at her previous seven starts and was sent out at the juicy odds of $34.00 tonight from box four. She flew out of the boxes and held an outright lead at the first turn with Moment For Life, Bow Bow Bullet and Fred Flint all in hot pursuit. Turning for home Cindy’s Pride strayed from the rail and with dogs charging at her from both sides was able to grip on and win by a nose at huge odds. Moment For Life ran second for Sue Mallia and a length away third was Bow Bow Bullet. Cindy’s Pride’s victory broke a very long losing sequence of 53 for Nambeelup based trainer Glen Price.
