“Tempting Lulu wins first up in WA for Glen Currie”

Former NSW based chaser Tempting Lulu arrived in WA having won 2 of her 4 starts in regional NSW. The daughter of Aussie Infrared won her maiden over 450m at Grafton in March and followed with a 525m victory at Taree. She drew favourably for her WA debut tonight wearing red over 300m at Mandurah, and she was supported accordingly. Sent out at $1.60 fixed odds she began cleanly and was second on straightening behind the speedy Flash Gypsy. With ample room on the inside Tempting Lulu charged through to the lead and won by more than a length in 17.37. Flash Gypsy held on for second ahead of Paradise Flyer who was a length away in third. Tempting Lulu is prepared by Wundowie trainer Glen Currie who has enjoyed plenty of success in the past with the likes of Trapper Wal, Bones McCoy, Fire Fly Ted and Zipper Zip Zip.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :
