“Such A Vibe impresses from box seven for Christine Robartson”

Stake Hill based trainer Christine Robartson trained the Quinella in tonight’s seventh event, the Sires On Ice Country 4/5 over 488m. Such A Vibe has always shown plenty of talent but she had to make her own luck from a wide draw against a decent field over 488m. The daughter of Zack Monelli flew across from box seven to take the lead but was challenged strongly in the home straight. Kennel-mate Blue Buick leveled up with Such A Vibe at the fifty metre mark but when they split the line Such A Vibe had her nose in front. Half a length away third was the fast finishing All About Stone for David Hobby. The slow winning time of 27.94 should be ignored given the wet conditions and the fact that other times on the night were all on the slow side too.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 4 LEO’S MAGIC : Swept home strongly to almost steal victory.

Race 3 Number 2 ZIPPING SEATTLE : Stormed home for second and has to be close to a win.
