“West On Panda overcomes box eight to win over 300m”

The Kellie Buckwell prepared West On Panda took out a keenly contested affair tonight, winning the All Torque Engineering Country Novice over 300m. Rank outsider Wedge Run set the pace but as the field straightened there were challengers everywhere. West On Panda hit the lead out wide and scored in a photo over Speedy Deville and a neck away flying home for third was Blooming Lilien. Wedge Run was close up in fourth position and Sunset Atlas was beaten just over a length and finished fifth. West On Panda is a regally bred daughter of Premium Share out of the highly talented Veyron Star. Trainer Kellie Buckwell has enjoyed an excellent start to the calendar year with 20 winners and 47 minor placegetters so far in 2025.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 2 Number 5 GO GETTEM WHOOPI : Chased well to overtake all rivals and while the overall time was fair, it was a promising effort.

Race 3 Number 1 INCREDIBLE ANGLE : Used box one and won comfortably in 17.36 over some handy types.
