“Miss Money makes light work of 300m maiden”

Ex-Victorian Miss Money arrived in WA with 2 minor placings from her 6 starts and last Tuesday won a qually over 300m in a smart 17.39. The daughter of American sire Need My Moneynow was heavily supported from box tow and jumped an odds-on favourite at $1.50. She began quickly and after out-speeding outsider Epic Eclipse she set the pace before winning comfortably by six lengths. First starter Turnover ran second for Kevin Philips and Nitro’s Izzy was another five lengths away in third for Chad Philpott. Miss Money posted a handy 17.28 and won’t take long to win her Novices for Nambeelup trainer Tony Scott.
