“Pronto Rocco breaks through for a tough maiden win”

Harvey based chaser Pronto Rocco broke through for an overdue victory in tonight’s All Torque Engineering Provincial Maiden over 400m. The Fran Farrell trained son of Shima Shine improved at box rise to land second at the first turn before taking the lead and dashing away to score by five lengths in 22.45. He had been placed in 11 of his 18 previous starts after moderate to slow getaways and once he settled so close to the lead he was always going to be very hard to hold off. His four other litter-mates Not Atrocious, Star Zitto, Incredible Shine and Incredible Angle have also already won their maidens.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 3 Number 1 GNARLY NALA : Was first up since October and won comfortably from the red box.

Race 9 Number 7 SARABI SINCLAIR : Led throughout in a smart 17.32 from box seven.
