“Arctic Crop blitzes maidens over 300m for Lewis Clay”

Nambeelup based trainer Lewis Clay has enjoyed plenty of success lately and that momentum carried through to Race 1 tonight when Arctic Crop bolted in. The daughter of Superior Panama burst across from box six to find the lead before charging clear to win by eight lengths in 17.25. The Christine Bennett trained Little McGee ran second and another two lengths away third was the Paul Kaltsis prepared Global Ace. Arctic Crop had been placed at her three previous starts over 400m when she was one of the fastest to begin. Her mother Torza was an excellent race bitch especially at the Mandurah track where she won 12 races and clocked a sizzling 22.63 over the old 405m distance.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 5 Number 6 MANJARIN : Flew to the first marker in 6.27 before winning in an impressive 22.48.

Race 6 Number 2 QUICK LANDS : Caught the eye with a fast finishing third behind some handy types.
