“Power Up Yoshi charges home to win for Morgan Turner”
Fast finisher Power Up Yoshi came with a well timed burst to win tonight’s Fuller Fitness Country Novice over 300m. The son of Tommy Shelby had only won 2 of 32 coming into tonight and settled midfield after 100m. Race favourite Chord Rhythm set the pace from box one but had no answer to Power Up Yoshi who overtook him at the rate of knots. He won by more than a length over Chord Rhythm and third was Summertime Max. Power Up Yoshi is owned and trained by Morgan Turner and has now started 33 times for 3 wins and 14 minor placings. Turner has enjoyed great success in the past with the likes of Emerald Guard, Crypto Monelli, Stanga Moose, Lite Monelli, Shadow Monelli and Harley Monelli.
