“You Got Me breaks a losing sequence of 42 for Glen Price”

The Glen Price trained You Got Me caused a boil-over in tonight’s third race, the Auto Owls Bentley Country Novice over 300m. The daughter of Wow has always been a reliable beginner but hanging on to win at the Mandurah track had eluded her until this evening. She bounced to the lead from box four and whilst there were many challengers in the home straight she saw them off to score by a head. Race favourite Mini Mia was the runner up beaten in a photo and a length away third was Spare Me who returned $9.20 a place. You Got Me is owned by Rod Price and trained by his son Glen, the win was her first at the Mandurah track at her 31st attempt.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 4 Number 6 CHAROS GRAND : Blitzed rivals over 300m, winning by 5 lengths in a new PB of 17.10.

Race 5 Number 7 SUPER COOL : Finished third and had plenty of excuses from box seven.
