“Michigan shines from box one”

Krystal Shinners has another youngster with a very bright future. Michigan turned two last month and has now started twice for two wins over 400m in 22.40 and 22.42. He began cleanly from the red box tonight before hunting through to lead and then score by four lengths over a handy field. The Margaret Hepple prepared No Hard Feelings finished strongly for second and a head away third was Noble Almiron. Michigan is sired by Aston Rupee and is out of Elevated who won 12 of 30 starts in Victoria. Elevated has also been an amazing producer having mothered Amplified (31 wins), Deadly Class (19 wins), Revolution (18 wins), Deadly Rookie (17 wins) and Levitation (10 wins).

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 2 Number 5 THAI SURPRISE : Showed good acceleration and ran a cheeky third beaten less than a length.

Race 4 Number 6 NO HARD FEELINGS : Made up plenty of ground to finish second behind the highly promising Michigan.
