“Tony Williams prepares first and second in Race Two”

Southern River based trainer Tony Williams took out tonight’s Bring The Family Grade 6 over 300m. Veteran speedster Fire Fly Joanne pinged across from box five and crossed favourite Impress Rolls before leading throughout in a handy 17.33. Her older kennel-mate Commander Mack who turns five years old next month finished strongly to be the runner up beaten two lengths. Half a length away third was Impress Rolls ahead of Mongolian Tiger in fourth. The Williams runners started $12.00 and $17.00 respectively and the Quinella returned $85.10 with the WA TAB. Tony Williams has trained greyhounds for a long time and has enjoyed success in the past with the likes of Bomber Command (31 wins), Splash Of Ice (18 wins), Mosquito Squad (16 wins), Ice Lady (14 wins) and War Zone’s Best (10 wins).
