HAMSTEAD (Fernando Bale- Star Book) raced to the lead and wasn’ t headed as he broke his Maiden status at his second start. TheJamie Marsh trained youngster won by 3 1/2 lengths over the short priced favourite Urbanity in 27.73.

CANYA ICE MAN (Tommy Shelby-Wynburn Ava) led throughout from box 1 and clocked a slick 27.38 in the process. The Sean Kavanagh trained dog defeated Clifton Thayne by 5 1/2 lengths in a dominant display.

KING KUNA (Tommy Shelby-Tahleia Brae) rattled home to defeat Speed Lee and Primo Tonic by 2 1/2 lengths in 27.62. The Michael Johnston trained dog has now won all 3 races over the 488 metres at Mandurah.

GIRL HILL (Fernando Bale-Mombasa) defeated her kennel mate Souljacker by 1 1/2 lengths in 37.32 after the pair settled one two in running. The Kirsty Moore trained pair dominated from the front with the brindle bitch Girl Hill coming out on top at her first try over the 652 metres.
