“Pop’s Angel improves sharply for Graeme Hall”

Race Two produced a rough result with a $31.30 (on tote) chance bursting to the lead and winning easily. The Graeme Hall trained Pop’s Angel erupted past his rivals to find the front before establishing a six length lead after one hundred metres. While Beckie’s Dream made late ground Pop’s Angel was never going to lose and scored by two lengths in 17.62. Beckie’s Dream charged to the line and three lengths away third was race favourite Absolute Mayhem. Pop’s Angel had finished 8th, 7th, 8th and 8th at her last four starts and was justifiably sent out at juicy odds tonight.
