“Imperial Sash returns to winners list”

Imperial Sash improved at box rise tonight when he led throughout to win the Sires On Ice City 5 over 488m. The Terry Erenshaw trained chaser won 2 of 2 over 400m at the Mandurah circuit before stepping up to 488m. He failed to trouble the judge at six runs over the longer trip, finishing out of the placings on each occasion. However this evening he mustered to the front before holding off the well-backed race favourite Shy Emoji by a length. Imperial Sash recorded a fast 27.39 and has now won 9 of 29 career starts for his owners the Fluffy Duck Syndicate.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 3 Number 2 KING KUNA : Stormed home for a powerful victory in 27.65.

Race 4 Number 7 LITTLE BOUJEE : Made up plenty of ground to lose by less than two lengths and looks close to a win.
