“Ian Bunny qualifies two runners for Young Stars Final”
Barragup based trainer Ian Bunny took out the second and fifth heats of the Young Stars series tonight with fast beginners Another James and Fancy That Fred. The brothers were sired by Sennachie and are out of Hazlehurst who was a very handy sprinter in her own right and mainly at the Mandurah track. Another James upset a quality field in Heat Two and recorded an equal fastest 27.44 from box three. Fancy That Fred swept across from box eight to set up a break before winning in a slower overall time of 27.85. The other three heat winners were Iconic Jet (27.44), Arbolino (27.65) and Rigatoni Monelli (27.66).
