“Zipping Maradona cashes in on box one”

Capable sprinter Zipping Maradona had drawn boxes 5, 5, 8 and 5 at his last four Northam runs and was always going to be hard to beat from box one tonight. The son of Zack Monelli recently recorded a fast 29.53 and was always going to have strong support from a betting point of view. Shiny Dancer out-sped him early but at half way the favourite took over and went on to win comfortably in 29.74. Incredible King ran on well for second and Quick Lands again finished powerfully late to be close up in third position. Zipping Maradona has now won 3 of 29 for Glen McKinley and Banjup trainer Cosi Dagostino.
