“Corey Keeping makes full use of box eight to win Novice”

Up and coming short-courser Corey Keeping relished box eight in tonight’s John Majewski Provincial Novice over 400m. The son of Mogambo won his maiden last Tuesday in 22.61 and tonight after being held wide at the first turn dashed away late to win in 22.84. A few of the favourites struck first turn interference and the Brad Cook trained chaser cashed in, winning by four lengths over Seahorn and Bronelly Junior. Corey Keeping is owned by Charmaine Roberts and is from a litter that has produced nine greyhounds who have won maidens atleast.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 1 HOLSTEIN : Stormed away over the concluding stages to win by 8.50 lengths.

Race 4 Number 2 MINI SNOOZE : Recovered from a poor jump to win again over 300m.
