“Dashing Serpent wins first up in WA for Michael Hine”

South Australian short-courser Dashing Serpent made light work of tonight’s opposition when he led throughout in the Thursdays At Northam Country Novice over 297m. The daughter of Superior Panama started 17 times in SA where she tasted success firstly over 400m at Gawler and then over 342m at Angle Park. Tonight she flew out from box two and led all the way in 17.68, defeating Harper Smirch by two lengths. Her mother Zambora Cross won a whopping 24 races and has produced some elite chasers like Zambora Lou, Zambora Smokey, Zambora Lion and Zambora Clown. Dashing Serpent is raced by Alex Jung and is trained by Michael Hine.
