“Wise Cousin Glen leads throughout for Michael Hine”

Honest sprinter Wise Cousin Glen chalked up his sixth career victory tonight for Bakers Hill based trainer Michael Hine. Numbers one (Smirch Birch) and two (Flynn McCool) were heavily supported and were sent out equal favourites at $2.70 apiece. Both of their winning chances decreased dramatically at box rise when Wise Cousin Glen flew out of box three and crossed them both. The son of Barcia Bale charged away to win by two lengths over Zulu Buddy and Smirch Birch ran third.
