“Carina Missile relishes drop to 300m”

Carina Missile had been struggling to be competitive over 400m for Enzo Crudeli, managing just 3 minor placings from 14 starts over that distance against Provincial Class. The daughter of Fernando Bale is out of Speed Missile who was a terrific race bitch in her own right, winning 12 races and earning over $58,000. However Carina Missile had been struggling and tonight dropped to Country Class over 300m and drew favourably in box one. She began cleanly and drove through to lead before winning by a mammoth eight lengths in the handy time of 17.32. Nautical Knots finished second for Morgan Turner and three lengths away third was first starter Molfetta Ace.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 3 Number 5 IMPRESS CANELO : Pushed through strongly in the early stages before winning by three lengths.

Race 6 Number 5 POWER FORWARD : Ran a gallant second and really should have won given the ankle tap he copped near the line.
