“Patriot James wins first up in WA for Erenshaw”

Speedy former Victorian Patriot James impressed at his WA debut tonight, leading throughout in the Sign Strategy Provincial Novice. The son of Fernando Bale won twice in Victoria and both triumphs occurred over 410m at the spacious circuit of Horsham. Tonight he fired to the early lead before posting a slick 6.28 to the first marker and then winning in 22.54. Race favourite Timmy Tesla worked home strongly for second and a neck away third was Luxio Wave. Patriot James is two years and three months old and is raced by Kayla and Terry Erenshaw out of Canning Vale. He is a full bother to handy types Phelan Tubman, Patriot Bradley and Tubman’s Legacy.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 2 LILY LUMA : Flew out before winning in a sizzling 17.28.

Race 3 Number 7 JUNGLE ROOM : Rallied late to claim third after settling a long way back.
