“Lil Bit Twisted sweeps into Winter Sprint Final”

Noted wide tracker Lil Bit Twisted capitalised on his favourite box tonight when he accounted for a quality field in Heat Two of the Winter Sprint. He out-mustered his rivals to find the front and although he wobbled wide at the top of the home straight he was able to win by a length in 22.62. Our Benson finished strongly to be the runner up for Kody Charles and three lengths away third was the James Jeffries prepared Matrix Bale. Lil Bit Twisted began his career in a blaze of glory at Cannington and has taken a while to find his feet at Mandurah. Tonight was his third victory at the Peel venue from 27 appearances and if he draws wide in the final he will go very close. The other three heat winners were Sunset Hornet (22.16), Kingsbrae Demon (22.64) and Barbeque Man (22.31). The box draw for this year’s Winter Sprint over 400m :

1) OUR BENSON
2) WHAT A RIPPER
3) SUNSET HORNET
4) KINGSBRAE DEMON
5) BUNJI MAN
6) BARBEQUE MAN
7) BRAIN TEASER
8) LIL BIT TWISTED
9) SOLID TANK
10) IRVING BALE
