“Odds On Brax shines first up after eight months off”

Talented sprinter Odds On Brax sprinted brilliantly first up when he took out tonight’s opening event, the Free Entry TABtouch Park Country 6 over 300m. The son of Fernando Bale hadn’t raced since last July when interfered with and seventh over 380m at Cannington. Last Thursday he completed a Steward’s Trial over 400m and clocked a moderate time of 22.67. This evening first up for his new trainer Brodie Kirby he flew from the boxes and quickly established an outright lead. The Robbie Brankstone bred chaser then sailed clear of his opponents to score by three lengths in a fast 17.04. Odds On Brax is out of Defy All Odds who has produced some very handy chasers in the past like Little Miss Ava, Alaska’s Girl, Scarlet’s Prince and Moon Time.
