“Edith Hook sizzles over 300m in 16.92”

Pint-sized sprinter Edith Hook gave her rivals no hope tonight when she clocked a flying 16.92. The 23kg black daughter of Flying Ricciardo flew to the first marker in 6.55 before defeating Greek Odyssey by four lengths in stylish fashion. A head away in third position was Red Ned Gundi who maintained a wide path throughout. Edith Hook scored last Thursday in 17.10 after sitting outside of Mauritian Titan early before overpowering that greyhound in the front straight. This evening she showed what she is capable of timewise when she finds an outright lead. Her time was less than four lengths outside of the current track record held by Alfie Tux.

Race 3 Number 6 TORPEDO GIRL : Passed quite a few in the run home to finish second after settling well back.

Race 6 Number 6 STANGA STORM : Flew late to snatch third over 488m.
