20240213 – Mandurah Tuesday

“Unleashed Mayhem lights up Mandurah”

Promising sprinter Unleashed Mayhem defeated a handy field of juveniles in tonight’s Tommy Shelby At Stud Maiden Final over 400m. The son of Kc And All showed excellent mustering power in his qually win before running a bold second on debut despite some bumps in the middle stages. He was well backed this evening and started a $2.35 fixed odds favourite despite drawing box seven. He began faultlessly and then his mustering power carried him to the first marker in a flying 6.22, allowing him to take an outright lead. The Krystal Shinners trained youngster went on to win by three lengths in 22.30 and looks set for a bright future. Upper Tux caught the eye with a fast finishing second for Chris Halse and a length away third was Send It Kye. Unleashed Mayhem is raced by Corey and Anne Siekman who have enjoyed plenty of success in the past, notably winning the 2004 Adelaide Cup with Victorian Hotline Hero.

Race 3 Number 5 BIG RODNEY : Ran a bold second for a top trainer and won’t take long to win his maiden.

Race 4 Number 1 RUTHLESS TIGER : Finished strongly to run second and will win one soon.
