“Hecton’s Boy breaks losing sequence of 33 for Enzo Crudeli”

Earner of more than $76,000 Hecton’s Boy saluted in tonight’s opening event over the unfamiliar distance of 300m. The son of Hecton Bale is better known over longer distances and late last year was competing over 600m and 715m at Cannington. He began fairly tonight from box seven but was able to hit the lead prior to straightening before charging away to win by three lengths in 17.13. It was Hecton’s Boy’s first win since last July when he beat Soda Saville over 715m. His mother Dubliner won 20 of 48 on the race track and has produced some handy greyhounds like Ready For Magic, Luke’s Coal, Bugner and Ryan’s Deal.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 4 Number 2 POPPA MONNO : Made up ground on some handy types over 652m.

Race 5 Number 2 PRIME BILLIE : Rallied strongly to score over 400m in a handy 22.54.
