“Love Me Better breaks through for Phil Worthington”

Tonight’s maiden victory for Love Me Better was overdue given that the Phil Worthington trained chaser had been a runner up at 12 of his 20 career starts. The son of Shima Shine settled in third position and when the leading duo of Sunset Pearl and Lara Hook began bumping Love Me Better was able to soar through on the inside and win in 17.47. Kennel-mate Goldie Ando ran on nicely for second and a nose away third was Timeless Fun. Love Me Better is raced by Bryan Wilson and is a full brother to handy types Big Tuna and Skye Made Me. He is also a half brother to good performers Hooked On Love, Your Girl Airlie and Strung Out.

Race 5 Number 8 DIDO BELLE : Stuck on well for fourth over 400m and is ready to win.

Race 7 Number 4 ULTIMATE COMMAND : Ran fifth but hit the line powerfully, follow closely.
