“Bantam Rocket sizzles around Cannington for Margaret Hepple”

Fast breaker Bantam Rocket began like a rocket to find the lead in tonight’s Investinthechase Provincial Novice over 380m. The Margaret Hepple prepared chaser clocked a lightning 6.45 to the first marker before defeating handy greyhound Moment For Life by three lengths. Bantam Rocket recorded a new PB of 21.76 and looks set for many more victories. She will turn two years old in January and is owned by Jamie Hosking. Moment For Life stuck on well for second for Jamie Marsh and another three lengths away third was the Michael Rylands trained Outstride.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 2 Number 3 SAGO GUNDI : Began well and led throughout in 22.08 for Geoff Reid.

Race 3 Number 4 CHERRY BLUE : Pinged to the front over 380m before running a nice second on debut in around 22 seconds.
