“Kiki Sunrise wins her maiden at her 37th start”

Well bred chaser Kiki Sunrise led throughout to win tonight’s Prime Trophies Provincial Maiden over 520m. The daughter of Fernando Bale cannon-balled to an early lead before kicking away in the late stages to salute by 2.50 lengths. Given her winless record she returned the generous odds of $11.70 on tote in a field of four. Race favourite Tudor Light finished second and two lengths away third was Liberty Rules. Kiki Sunrise is raced by the Ten Eighty Syndicate and is prepared by Nambeelup trainer Enzo Crudeli. She hails from a handy litter that includes Orokonui, Disco Trixie, Chloe Ant, Speed Freak and Ballistic Ant.
