Powerful short-courser Bundegi returned to the winner’s list in tonight’s Essential Aircor Services Provincial 4/5 over 380m. The daughter of Zambora Brockie relished the wide box over 380m and quickly assumed control as the field entered the back straight. She maintained a wide path and on straightening booted away from her rivals to score by two lengths. Favourites Westdale Fury and Paua Of Molly filled the minor placings but were no match for Bundegi who clocked 21.92. The daughter of top race bitch Marydoll has now started 48 times for 14 wins, 11 seconds and 8 thirds.
