“Jumping Jill returns to winner’s list for Tracey Hine”

Honest speedster Jumping Jill relished the return to a Country 5/6 over 297m at Northam this afternoon when she led throughout from box four. The daughter of Aussie Infrared pinged to an early lead and set up a three length buffer by half way before holding on to score in 17.37. The time was a new PB, roughly half a length better than the 17.41 she recorded back in June. The Natalee Marshall trained Madison’s Keys powered home and was within a length on the line but Jumping Jill was never in serious danger of losing. Another four lengths away in third position was the May Leach prepared Danish Lace. Jumping Jill has now built up a handy career record of 27 starts for 5 wins, 6 seconds and 7 thirds. Her mother Quara’s Emma won 15 of her 31 outings including the 2019 Mandurah Birthday Cup.
