20221129 – Mandurah Tuesday

“Her Rules breaks maiden on debut for Chris Halse and Justin Warwick”

Nicely bred youngster Her Rules will turn two years old in February and was an impressive debut winner tonight for Chris Halse. The daughter of Fernando Bale clocked a moderate 28.33 in a 490m qually last Tuesday and drew handily in box two for her first start tonight. She settled third at the first turn before taking a narrow gap in the middle stages. She then took the lead at the top of the straight. Outsider Show No Mercy flew home but fell short by a neck, allowing Her Rules to score on debut in 23.33. A length away in third position was Turbo Jordy who after a fast jump was prominent throughout. Her Rules is a full sister to Couch Surfer who shows above average ability. Both are owned by Justin Warwick of harness and gallop fame and look to have very bright futures.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 4 SHOW NO MERCY : Made up many lengths to lose narrowly at massive odds.

Race 3 Number 4 HANDY JIMMY : Worked hard to get to the front before winning by four lengths in 27.80.
