Tonight’s first event was a Country 6 over 405m and was run in wet conditions. $3.00 favourite Weblec Bliss missed the start and settled near the rear before railing to a strong and comfortable victory. The Pete Brown trained Heat Wave set the pace but was no match for Weblec Bliss who relished the wet conditions and dashed away to score by three lengths. She posted a smart 22.95 after the slow start and snapped a losing sequence of 21 in the process. The daughter of Fernando bale has now started 62 times for 9 wins and 20 minor placings.


Race 2 Number 4 QUICK LADY JOSIE : Flew out to lead and ran an excellent second over 490m in 28.02.

Race 3 Number 2 SAND PATCH : Stormed away to win by 8 lengths on debut in wet conditions.
