“West On Fever relishes class drop”

It’s not often a greyhound starts in a Provincial FFA and a week later drops to a Country 4/5 but that was the case tonight for the highly talented West On Fever. The son of Fernando Bale was heavily backed into $1.30 from box two and after a moderate jump zoomed to the lead in the middle stages before romping clear to salute by four lengths. The Justin Wood trained Chloe’s The Boss ran a solid second and four lengths away third was Banjo’s Girl. West On Fever has now started 20 times for 8 wins, 9 minor placings and over $19,000 in earnings. He is a half brother to awesome performers West On Hawkeye, Eminent Reality, Art Noveau, Duty Free and West On Archer.

Race 1 Number 8 VALCONY WARRIOR : Overcame a moderate start to take the lead mid race and hang on narrowly.

Race 3 Number 9 PADDDY WHACK : Powered home to beat a decent 302m field in 17.30.
