“Cosmic Typhoon snaps a losing sequence of 29”

Talented sprinter Cosmic Typhoon relished box one tonight when he took out the $29 Thursday Buffet Grade 6 over 405m. The son of Fernando Bale was heavily backed into $1.50 fixed odds and didn’t let his backers down. He squeezed through on the inside of his rivals at the first turn before scoring by three lengths in a smart 22.99. Despite not having won recently he boasted a strong form line of finishing 3.50 lengths behind Larkin Monelli, 4.25 lengths behind Turbo Fun and 3.75 lengths behind Mild Marcus. Favourite backers were on to it and the drop to Grade 6 company certainly assisted his chances. He is raced by Anthony Barranca and is now prepared by Ben MacLean who has done a terrific job getting Cosmic Typhoon back into winning form.
