“Stanga Moose makes it seven wins in a row for Morgan Turner”

Stanga Moose has matured into a well-oiled 405m machine for Morgan Turner and didn’t let his backers down tonight. The son of Shakey Jakey will turn three this December and tonight notched his seventh successive victory over 405m. From box one he was well supported and sent out a $1.50 favourite but after fifty metres found himself fifth and in traffic. Outsider Remi Monelli found the front but Stanga Moose made his move in the middle stages and began to reel in the leader. Turning for home they were matching strides but then Stanga Moose found more and dashed away to win by more than a length in 22.56. Remi Monelli finished second for David Hobby and two lengths away third was Harper’s Hero. Stanga Moose has now started 39 times for 16 wins and 15 minor placings and is clearly racing in the best form of his career.

Race 4 Number 8 WEST ON FIRE : Won comfortably over 490m after beginning like a rocket from the outside box.

Race 5 Number 1 STICKER SPARKLES : After being shuffled back hit the line with power in his legs and is one to watch.
