“Bill Bo overcomes injuries to break his duck”

Two year old greyhound Bill Bo suffered minor injuries at his two most recent starts before shrugging those off tonight and winning for Neville Smith. He was placed at his first three starts earlier in the year but hadn’t been sighted on a race night since November when stood down for seven days by the vet at Cannington. Tonight he was kept safe from the red box and after holding out the speedy Tainted (box five) he sailed away in the home straight to win in a smart 22.89. Still Dreaming (box seven) rattled home to be beaten four lengths into second ahead of Tainted who held on for third. Bill Bo is trained out of Nambeelup by Neville Smith and if he can stay injury free is sure to win plenty more.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 5 FEARLESS EAGLES : Showed mid race acceleration and strength near the line to win his maiden in 22.73.
