20200220 – Mandurah Thursday

“Morgan Turner produces all three placegetters in Race Four”
Nambeelup trainer Morgan Turner had three starters in tonight’s fourth event, the Mandurah Stockfeeds Novice over 405m. His beautifully bred speedster Coco’s Daughter erupted out of box seven, in turn providing mustering room for kennelmate Campfire Cologne out of box eight. The pair dashed into the first turn sharing the lead whilst race favourite Any Tips Jim struck trouble and dropped out to last. Turning for home Coco’s Daughter shrugged off Campfire Cologne and cleared out to win by three lengths. Turner’s third greyhound High Tensile flashed home to grab second ahead of the weakening Campfire Cologne who held third position ahead of Showing. It’s a great effort to fill the podium with three runners in a race and Coco’s Daughter’s time of 23.09 was also very handy.
HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :
Race 2 Number 1 INCREDIBLE LUNAR : Made up plenty of ground to overtake a few and win over 302m.
Race 4 Number 1 HIGH TENSILE : Made up many lengths and has been a great money-spinner with 28 podium finishes from 46 starts.
