20181107 – Cannington Wednesday

OLLIE MACHINE (Ollie Bale- Whispering Ling) led from box 3 and recorded his first win scoring by 5 lengths over Lady Sings in 30.10. The Enzo Crudeli trained dog had been placed at 2 of his past 3 starts, however hadn’t been able to find the lead until tonight.

BLACKWOOD BURST (El Grand Senor- Lucy’s Image) crossed from the outside draw and then held off the challenges once he found the rail scoring by 1 1/4 lengths in 22.12. The Peter Glenny trained dog was placed last start behind the inform Chevy Sheikh in 22.14.

FEELIN’ ALRIGHT (Barcia Bale- Ume Typhoon) made it 2 straight wins after overcoming a few checks in running to score a 1 1/2 length victory over kennel mate West On Hazel. The Chris Halse pair booth look to have above average ability, however Feelin’ Alright couldn’t of been more impressive scoring in 30.29 even after overcoming the trouble.

WEST ON HAZEL (Barcia Bale- Zelemar Fever) recorded an all the way win on debut from box 4. The Chris Halse trained bitch had won 2 recent qualifying trials and railed well once in front on the arm to score by 5 lengths over Lady Sings in 30.16.

FEELIN’ ALRIGHT (Barcia Bale- Ume Typhoon) a half sister to Fanta Bale won her maiden on debut by 5 lengths in 30.14. The Chris Halse trained bitch had won 2 qualifying trials in good time before her debut.

HELLO I’M KEV (Barcia Bale- Sharon Monelli) recorded his first win in 13 starts at Cannington after finding the lead from box 3. The Ben MacLean trained dog had been racing without luck and defeated Bee Dee by 3/4 length in 30.25.

20181017 – Cannington Wednesday

“Magic Brandi leads throughout again for Brad Cook”

Magic Brandi has improved out of sight recently, notching another victory tonight over the 380m distance. The daughter of Magic Sprite was well backed from box one and after flying from the boxes led throughout in 22.14. Second elect Dark Beyond finished strongly for second for Eric Campana while the winner’s kennel-mate Blackpool Tipsy ran third after a fast getaway. Magic Brandi now has 3 wins and 3 minor placings from her last 6 starts and is racing with plenty of confidence. She is raced by Karl Hassan, Brad Cook (pictured) and Victoria Cook and has now won 5 of 22. She is just 2 years and 4 months of age and looks set to accumulate plenty of stake earnings.


Trial 1 Number 5 SPRITE MONELLI : Won impressively in a fast 30.19 after beginning like a rocket.

Race 3 Number 8 ROBSON : Overcame box eight to post 5.55 to the first turn and lead throughout in a handy 30.30.

20181010 – Cannington Wednesday

SERG’S GIRL (Fernando Bale- Sharkey Flash) led throughout to record her Maiden win in 30.74. The Joe Dailly trained bitch finished second at her previous start behind West On Poppy. The black bitch defeated Robson by 2 1/4 lengths.

MAUDE MONELLI (Barcia Bale- Bingle Monelli) showed speed from box 3 and then railed better than her rivals to score a 2 3/4 length win over Hello I’m Biggie in 22.07. The David Hobby trained bitch has now won 6 times over the 380 metres.

WEST ON HOLLY (Barcia Bale- Zelemar Fever) jumped well and then surprised punters by holding out GoPro running into the first corner. the Chris Halse trained bitch then raced away from her rivals scoring by 6 lengths in 30.01. The black brindle bitch is undefeated in 4 career starts.

20181003 – Cannington Wednesday

WEST ON POPPY (Barcia Bale- Zelemar Fever) had to overcome early trouble before racing away for a 2 3/4 length Maiden win on debut in 30.71. The Chris Halse trained bitch had been trialling well and looks to have plenty of ability and will to chase.

SUNSET OCTAVIA (Fernando Bale- Push It) recorded her maiden win  after working around the field going along the back straight and then racing clear to win by 4 3/4 lengths in 30.59. The David Hobby trained bitch had finished third on two occasions before finding trouble in the Spring Maiden Classic series won by West On Holly. The race favourite Robson is one greyhound to follow after finding plenty of trouble from his outside draw.

COMMANDER JACK (Bomber Command- Tomerong Gal) caused an upset win over the 380 metres when he ended a losing sequence of 14 to score a 1 3/4 length win over Zipping Flynn in 22.17. The Tony Williams trained dog has been doing most of his racing recently at Mandurah and Northam.
