20190313 – Cannington Wednesday

BANJO’S GIRL (Banjo Boy- Beyond Resolve) led throughout from the 380 metre boxes to score by 5 lengths over Wikarie Phoebe in a PB 21.90. The Rod Noden trained bitch was having just her 4th career start and she doesn’t turn two years of age until July.

VENUS AND MARS (Kinloch Brae- West On Delly) worked across from her outside draw to settle second on the leader Expect A Spring before racing to the lead in the home straight and winning by 1 1 /2 lengths in 30.48. The Chris Halse trained bitch had been placed at 5 of her first 6 starts.

WILLIE GUNDI (My Bro Fabio- Senora Gundi) had finished in the placings at 10 of 14 starts at Cannington before he charged home to record a 1 3/4 length win over Westdale Anne. The Christine Bennett trained dog saluted in 30.23 in recording his 3rd career start in 19 outings.

20181212 – Cannington Wednesday

LAPTOP WIZARD (David Bale- Pandora’s Sin) recorded his Maiden win with an all the way victory after leading from box 4. The Enzo Crudeli trained youngster, who turns 2 years of age in April, shot out of the boxes and then with trouble behind him scored by 9 lengths in 30.48 at his 4th career start.

LEVIATHAM (Mogambo- Starlight Acacia) recorded back to win for new trainer Shayne Williams after leading from box 1. The lightly raced black dog has now won 4 times from 7 starts and recorded a PB 21.88 in defeating Mundi Marks by 4 lengths.

INCREDIBLE HERO (Barcia Bale- Onya Nine Wonwon) jumped well from box 2 and held his running into the first corner before drawing away from his rivals and winning by 2 lengths over Willie Gundi in 30.09. The Frances Farrell trained dog has now won twice in 10 starts and has been placed on another 5 occasions.

20181121 – Cannington Wednesday

SPIRIT MONELLI (Magic Sprite- Jackie Bale) scored a strong win when railing underneath the favourite Kiss Me Linda on straightening for home before scoring by 2 lengths in a PB 30.21. The David Hobby trained dog was placed at his previous start in 30.77.  Kiss Me Linda will be strengthened by the run and pay to follow.

GOBLIN MONELLI (Magic Sprite- Jackie Bale) jumped well from the outside draw and ran home strongly to claim the leader Laptop Wizard on the line. The winning margin was just a head in a time of 30.44 and gave trainer David Hobby a race to race double.

SUNSET MOSCHINO (High Earner- Unbelief) scored an upset win from box 1 and gave trainer David Hobby a race to race treble. The red brindle bitch recorded her first win in 6 starts at Cannington scoring by a length from Pyrotechnics in 22.12.

 

20181114 – Cannington Wednesday

DANDALUP CASPER (Cosmic Rumble- Misty Peal) was most impressive on debut scoring by 7 3/4 lengths after being moderately away. The white and blue dog burst through a small gap going past the judge the first time before racing clear of his rivals stopping the clock at 30.23.

COSMIC OX (Fabregas- Cosmic Sapphire) returned from injury and into the winners list with a strong win over King Tony in 21.96. The Jamie Marsh trained dog has now won 6 times from 10 career starts and has a PB of 21.52 over the 380 metres. It was the black dogs first run since early September.

SNALLYGASTER (Fernando Bale- Orthia Bale) found the front from box 4 and led throughout over the 520 metres scoring by 6 1/2 lengths over Go Get Fancy in a PB 30.06. The Enzo Crudeli trained dog has now won twice from his past 4 starts.

20181107 – Cannington Wednesday

OLLIE MACHINE (Ollie Bale- Whispering Ling) led from box 3 and recorded his first win scoring by 5 lengths over Lady Sings in 30.10. The Enzo Crudeli trained dog had been placed at 2 of his past 3 starts, however hadn’t been able to find the lead until tonight.

BLACKWOOD BURST (El Grand Senor- Lucy’s Image) crossed from the outside draw and then held off the challenges once he found the rail scoring by 1 1/4 lengths in 22.12. The Peter Glenny trained dog was placed last start behind the inform Chevy Sheikh in 22.14.

FEELIN’ ALRIGHT (Barcia Bale- Ume Typhoon) made it 2 straight wins after overcoming a few checks in running to score a 1 1/2 length victory over kennel mate West On Hazel. The Chris Halse pair booth look to have above average ability, however Feelin’ Alright couldn’t of been more impressive scoring in 30.29 even after overcoming the trouble.
