20200706 – Cannington Monday

MON REBEL (Kinloch Brae- Starlight Asha) recently transferred from Linda Smithson’s kennel to her son Adams and the little black bitch won her Maiden impressively on debut for him. Jumping well from box 4, she recorded a winning time of 16.17 in defeating Mustang Fun by 4 lengths.

BELLA’S WAY (Worm Burner- Molly Dobbs) was on debut at Cannington when she scored a head victory over Abbey Siobhan in 16.35. Now in the care of Phil Worthington, the former SA winner was quick to reward her connections and has now won 3 times from 12 starts.

SHE’S DUE (Barcia Bale- Tye Me Up) recorded her first win over the 275 metres with a 3/4 length victory over Kid Fabio in 16.41. The win continued the winning run for trainer Pete Brown who had a winning double 24 hours earlier at Cannington.

20200704 – Cannington Saturday – The Westcha$e Heats

COUNTING KUNA (Fernando Bale- Leelicious) led throughout over the 380 metres and recorded a 3 length win over Nobelium in 21.89. The Michael Johnston trained dog has now won 8 times from 14 career starts including a track record run over the 275 metres clocking 15.73 a few runs prior.

CHEVY’S ENTRY (Unlawful Entry- Sticka Size) led from box 1 and defeated Buster the Brute by 1 3/4 lengths in a PB 30.01. The Shayne Williams trained dog only recently won a city Grade 5 in 30.19. The blue brindle dog has now won 14 times from 42 career starts and nearly $50,000 in stakes.

MORE DEDUCTIONS (Fernando Bale- Sweet It Is) appreciated the bumping taking place by Incredible Hero and Who’s Got Byron going into the first corner. The Paul Stuart trained dog worked to the lead missing the bumping and raced away for an 8 length win over Freddo Monelli in a PB 29.82. The former Victorian chaser has now won 3 of 4 starts since coming West.

20200701 – Cannington Wednesday

SUBWAY DEMON (Demon Bale- Whispering Ling) recorded his Maiden win when he worked across from his outside draw before defeating Elsie Tux by 2 1/2 lengths in 22.54. The Enzo Crudeli trained dog had been placed at 3 of his prior 11 starts.

FAB’S WINNIE (Allen Deed- Fabriola Allen) returned to the winners list defeating Top Prospect by a half length in 30.25. The Joe Dailly trained bitch recorded just her second win in 30 starts after narrowly being beaten by a neck by West On Magada at her previous outing.

SWEET BUT PSYCHO (Magic Sprite- Golden Salute) broke through for her Maiden victory after 4 placings from her first 4 career starts. The Enzo Crudeli trained bitch worked past the leader Japonica Monelli along the back straight before winning by 1 1/2 lengths in 30.22.

20200629 – Cannington Monday

PAD UP RICHIE (Mogambo- Noble Spirit) led from his inside draw and scored by 2 1/4 lengths over Baroness Tessa in his Maiden victory in 16.48. The Pete Brown trained youngster had been well supported at his past two starts before finding trouble and finishing mid field.

TALLADEGA KNIGHT (Mogambo- Noble Spirit) gave trainer Pete Brown and the litter an early winning double with a 3 1/2 length win over Taken on Moment in 16.41. Having his first start over the 275 metres, the black dog showed speed from his middle box draw and then drew away to win comfortably.

YANKEE FUN (Fernando Bale- Jamaica The Fun) bounced back into the winners list with a strong victory over Betty’s Beach by 1 1/4 lengths in a PB 16.14. The Lexia Isaac trained dog was well supported and has now won twice and has finished second 3 times from 5 try’s over the 275 metres.
