“Yankee Parker continues brilliant form at Cannington”

Former NSW chaser Yankee Parker has hit a purple patch of form since being switched to the metropolitan track by Forrestdale trainer Jackie Wilson. The son of KC And All was unplaced at his first three WA starts at Mandurah before improving there in mid December when beaten narrowly over 405m by Heliocentric. He then switched to the Cannington track where his results and confidence has taken off. Tonight he was headed off early by speedster Majestic Mia but was able to reel her in and then run away for a Free For All victory in a fast 22.01. His Cannington record now stands at 8 starts for 4 wins and 4 minor placings. Trainer Jackie Wilson has enjoyed a rich vane of form of late with her small team, winning the $25,000 to the winner Birthday Cup with Miss Bamsy in January.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 3 Number 4 DUNGEON MASTER : Was pushed wide a couple of times in transit but still found the line strongly to run third.

Race 5 Number 3 YUUP : Flooded home late after striking early interference.
