The Andrew McLaren trained chaser won her Maiden last Tuesday over 405m in a smart 23.08 after settling third at the first turn. She finished stylishly to win that race by 4.50 lengths and tonight’s rise in distance came as no surprise. She began cleanly from box four before surging to the lead after 100m. From there she continued to increase her lead with every stride, eventually scoring by 6.50 lengths in 27.94. She defeated handy types Little Bit Late and Hythe’s Best and race favourite Phase Three Ho failed to figure after missing the kick.
