20180913 – Mandurah Thursday

“Max profit wins Dash Final for Corey White”

Super sprinter Max Profit added to the silverware in his cabinet tonight when he reeled in Sunset Mouse to win the time-honoured Dash Final. The Dash Series is the only 300m feature event staged in WA all year and was first run back in 1981. There were some awesome performances in the heats last Thursday and none better than Max Profit who qualified fastest in 16.88. He was sent out favourite in the final from box four and when speedster Sunset Mouse flew out of box three he received plenty of mustering room. Sunset Mouse led to the top of the straight but Max Profit overpowered her to win by three lengths in wet conditions. He posted a great time of 16.96 and chalked up his thirty first lifetime victory, taking his career earnings over $159,000 for Nambeelup trainer Corey White and owners F and C Stanley. Miss Bamsy, last year’s Mandurah Cup winner flew home for third placing after being posted wide in the early stages.
