20180810 – Mandurah Friday

“Hello I’m Steelo impresses with Provincial Novice victory”

Hello I’m Steelo broke his maiden status at his seventh career start over 380m at Cannington on July 7. Last Friday night he made his Mandurah debut when third behind Aspire Higher in very wet conditions and he was beaten less than two lengths. This evening he began well and settled in a prominent position before launching a strong surge in the home straight to overhaul race leader Dad’s Decision and post 23.04. Trained out of Oakford by David Magistro, the 30kg son of Magic Sprite began his racing at a very early age. He turns two in December and has already started on eleven occasions. His record now stands at 2 wins and 5 minor placings and he is only going to get better.

Race 1 Number 2 BLUE BLAZE : Showed plenty of mid race muster to charge to the front before winning in a smart 27.81.

Race 4 Number 2 PATCHY KAT : Finished like a rocket to win over 405m in 22.75.
