“Stilton Smiley wins impressively on debut for Erenshaw”
Taylors Sky sired first starter Stilton Smiley took no prisoners tonight when an all the way winner of the A1 Salvage and Hardware Maiden over 405m. Starting from box five the Terry Erenshaw prepared youngster scooted to an early lead before winning by five lengths in a fast 22.95. The Chris Halse trained West On Zena finished second two lengths ahead of the David Hobby trained Sunset Candy. Stilton Smiley flagged potential a week earlier when victorious in his qually by a whopping twelve lengths. He turns two years old in April and looks set for a bright career for owner Jason Bolwell.
