20171104 – Cannington Saturday

QUICK JAGGER (Dyna Nalin- Saving Bundles) produced one of the best wins seen at the new Cannington track coming from last out of the boxes to defeating a smart field by 6 lengths in 29.75. The Chris Halse trained star, fell out of the boxes and then had to run 4 and 5 deep o the first corner trying to circle the field. He raced to the front going off the back straight and then raced clear in the straight. Connections of the Track Record holder may now look at taking him East to contest the richest greyhound race in the world, The Melbourne Cup.

NEIL MONELLI (Barcia Bale- Dyna Sandy) ended a run of minor placings with a fast finishing run out wide on the track to claim Pepper Fire and Astrozone on the line. The David Hobby trained dog had been racing without a lot of luck and recorded his 13th career win in a time of 29.82.

DECIMAL (Fabregas- Sialia) returned to the winners list after bypassing the two leaders who were checked going off the back straight and driving away for a length win over Benny Monelli. The Paul Stuart trained dog had been well supported at his past few starts where he found trouble himself. The black dog scored in 30.10.
