20170914 – Mandurah Thursday

“Oh That’s Cold breaks through for deserved victory”

Three year old chaser Oh That’s Cold overcame the green box to win tonight’s Mandurah Mail Mixed 5/6 over 302m. After rattling home to be a runner up at his last couple of starts he was well supported with the WA TAB to start $2.90. He began a bit better tonight and at the top of the straight was able to take a narrow lead before pulling away to win by a length. The Warnbro trained Moment For Us finished well to be the runner up ahead of the fading Brindle Satinka (third) who had set the early pace. Oh That’s Cold is prepared by Nambeelup based trainer Glen Price and has now started 25 times for 4 wins and 9 minor placings. The son of Magic Sprite turned three years old last month and should get a strong confidence boost out of this evening’s break through win.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 3 Number 1 BUSTER KEEPING : Wasn’t suited from the inside box but once he worked to the outside he charged home for second.

Race 5 Number 2 BENNY MONELLI : Appreciated the small field when a winner in a slick 27.39 for David Hobby.
