“Juno Away handles rise to Free For All grade”

Former Victorian chaser Juno Away achieved a hat-trick of wins tonight when she led throughout in the Mandurah Mail Free For All over 405m. After winning her last couple from wide draws in 22.73 and 23.01 the daughter of Fabregas handled tonight’s grade rise with ease. She began like a bullet, crossed her speedy opponents and bolted away to score by four lengths and returned the mighty dividend of $28.00 with the WA TAB. Her time of 22.70 was a new PB and she has now won 10 of 21 career starts. Juno Away is owned by Donna Craig and is prepared by Cosi Dagostino. Dagostino has been in terrific form of late, preparing winners on a regular basis from his Banjup property. In the past he trained elite sprinters Storm Act and Elvis.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 8 ADELE KEEPING : Finished powerfully to defeat a handy field in 22.89.

Race 3 Number 3 BROCK ON : Rushed home to lose narrowly over 405m and looks ready for a rise in distance.
