“Cobra Clutch goes big at Mandurah”

Top shelf sprinter Cobra Clutch has been a great sprinter for Canning Vale trainer Jamie Marsh. Tonight he banked his twenty third career victory from box 3 over 490m at Mandurah. Up against a strong Free For All field the son of Turanza Bale began quickly to out-muster the likes of Bago Balleo, Yunderup Dozer and Who’s Got Class. Cobra Clutch found the fence after fifty metres and quickly zoomed clear of rivals to set up a three length lead. Both Yunderup Dozer and Who’s Got Class gave pursuit but were unable to reel in Cobra Clutch who recorded a blistering 27.27. That time is just three lengths outside of the current track record posted by Back Jack Tewin in April of 2014. Cobra Clutch has now started 63 times and earned over $134,000 in stake earnings.
